GUARDING OUR TEMPLES
Today's reading: 2 Kings 11-15
"And all the people of the land went over to the temple of Baal and tore it down. They demolished the altars and smashed the idols to pieces, and they killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altars. Jehoida the priest stationed guards at the Temple of the Lord." 2 Kings 11:18 NLT
We are living in a day and age where guards at the church are not an uncommon scene.
They are there to protect our children and ourselves.
In some churches they are clearly visible, wearing the t-shirts with SECURITY screen-printed across them. In other churches the security team is a more under the radar force, seen but maybe not recognized as such.
What about the temples we live in? The ones we are to honor God with?
Do you have a security team in place to protect it?
Are you going to great lengths to make sure your temple remains holy, uncompromising, steady and growing?
