REMNANT
Today's reading: 2 Kings 18-21

"For a remnant of my people will spread out from Jerusalem, a group of survivors from Mount Zion. The passion of the Lord Almighty will make this happen!" 2 Kings 19:31 NLT

Remnant-a usually small part, member or trace remaining; an unused end piece of goods; a part still remaining.

I am a Christian today because that small remnant kept their faith and carried it from Jerusalem.

I am a Christian today because a small remnant broke free from a religious system and settled the Americas.

I am a Christian today because I had ancestors who remained true to God and kept their families close to Him.

I am a Christian today, not because I want to be like the 'in crowd', but because I want to be that small part still remaining who spreads out in my family, my church, my community, my part of the world and shares my Jesus!
