"The godly are showered with blessings;.." Proverbs 10:6 NLT

The Hebrew word for 'blessing' is 'berekah'.

It has under it's definition words like prosperity and gifts.

What surprised me was that also listed under its definition I find these two words--

Liberal.

Pools.

God's blessing on His children is not a sprinkling or a fine mist, it's a downpour. It's a summer rain shower. It's a drencher. It's what they call around here, a gully washer!

Each believer's blessings vary, but they come from the same gracious hand, God's.

Each believer's view of their blessings may change depending upon where they are in proximity to their blessing--some we don't see up close, but only in our rear view mirrors.

Each believer's blessings shower us so much so that if we choose to stop and notice, we will see we're ending up standing in a pool of blessings! A puddle of God's overflow of love.
