GREAT CALM

Today's reading: Mark 3-4

"When he woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the water, Quiet down! Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm." Mark 4:39 NLT

I can't give commands our big, farm dog always obeys.

I am not able to control the mop of hair on my head most days, even with  the strongest spray or a flatiron.

I don't have tight reins on my mouth--and even less on my eyebrows, which raise or lower with my feelings.

But God?

God has the control.

All control.

Limitless control.

Nothing it out of His realm of power.
