YOUR BATTLES
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 4-5

"Because he loved your ancestors, he chose to bless their descendants and personally brought you out of Egypt with a great display of power. He drove out nations far greater than you, so he could bring you in and give you their land as a special possession, as it is today." Deuteronomy 4:37-38 NLT

I don't know what battles you are facing today.

Some of you may face physical struggles that require muscle and strength. Diseases that are wreaking havoc on your bodies. Illnesses brought on by poor choices or by 'bad luck'. Sicknesses that result from the cure the doctor has prescribed.

Maybe it will be emotional battles that will draw on all your might to even get out of bed. Your demons are internal. Your battles never surface for others to see. Your battlefield is your mind.

For some of you, it might be spiritual tussles with what God desires you to do against what you believe is possible. Maybe it's that your heart desires to obey but your mind doesn't see how any of it is at all possible.

There will be battles today, none the less.

Whatever it is you are fighting against, know God is able.

Know He has already defeated bigger enemies than you are facing.

Know His record stands undefeated.

Know you are His, and He fights to the death, for His own!
