SUCCESS
Today's reading: Nehemiah 1-4

"But I replied, The God of heaven will help us succeed..." Nehemiah 2:20 NLT

I believe with all my heart that Nehemiah's reply was heartfelt.

It did not come during easy circumstances.

It was not said flippantly.

It was not spoken comfortably or in ease.

The walls of his home, God's city, lay in ruins.

The task was enormous.

The enemy was near.

The fear was real.

The statement was made based not on Nehemiah's abilities, but on God's.

God could. God would. God did.

Isn't that all we need to remember?
