TO BE LIKE JESUS
Today's reading: Luke 23-24

"Then Jesus shouted, Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands! And with those last words he breathed his last." Luke 23:46 NLT

Oh, to be like Jesus.

That in the midst of pain, I could shout out my trust in God.

That with all my energy spent, I could use my last ounce to proclaim Him.

That while in deepest grief, I could state aloud that I trust in God's plan for me.

That while feeling all alone, I could but speak knowing I am heard.

That with my dying breath, I could call out to the only One who holds me.

Oh, to be like Jesus.
