If you are believing when the ball drops this evening at midnight all our earthly problems will end, you, my dear friend, are sadly mistaken.
On January 1, COVID will still exist.
Political untruths will still remain to be uncovered.
Temptations will still lurk around most corners and down most grocery store aisles.
Trials of life, you might find, will not even notice a flip in the calendar page.
But to think of it--when we get to heaven--everything will be new--and better--and without problems!
If nothing else, a new year should remind us of all heaven holds in store for us when we get there.
Anticipation. Excitement. Hope.
