NEVER DISTURBED
Today's reading:  Proverbs 10

"The godly will never be disturbed, but the wicked will be removed from the land."  Proverbs 10:30 NLT

Never disturbed?  I know some good Christian people who have had some terribly disturbing things happen to them.  Disastrous things.  Horrific things.  Things that they'd have never, in a million years, prayed for or asked God to send their way.

Never disturbed?

Let me look around at a few other translations...

KJV--never removed
NIV--never uprooted
NASB--never shaken

That makes a difference.

I've watched those same godly people not allow themselves to be removed from God's presence.  I've watched as their faith remains firmly grounded.  I've watched as their faith in God and in His plans for their lives remain unwavering during tumultuous times.
