BELIEVING WHAT YOU ARE TOLD
Today's reading: 1 Samuel 1-3

"In that case, Eli said, cheer up! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him. Oh, thank you, sir! she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad." 1 Samuel 1:17-18 NLT

Hannah was given some great news by a man of God.

News good enough that it brought her out of her funk.

News good enough that she began to live again.

News good enough that it changed her mood.

She didn't hold her promise in her hands YET, but she knew it was coming. Some day. Some time. Some how.

You, friend, have been given promises as well.

Promises that guarantee you are not alone.

Promises that you won't be given more than you can bear with God's help.

Promises that this world is not your home.

Have His promises changed you?

Have His promises given you life?

Have His promises spurred you on, encouraged you and re-charged your hope?

Have His promises changed your mood?

Review His promises...they are powerful...and they are yours!
