PRAY

Today's reading: Luke 21-22

"There he told them, Pray that you will not be overcome by temptation." Luke 22:40 NLT

Do you think to pray about your temptations before you head out the door?

Or like me, do you tend to pray in '9-1-1' mode after you been lured by temptation, have fallen into it and have quite possibly rolled around in it for a while?

Jesus said to pray that we not be overcome by temptation.

That shows me a few things...

-Temptation is headed my way.

-Temptation has the strength to overwhelm/overcome me.

-Prayer is my weapon against it.

So, friends, why aren't we praying about it before it ever happens?
