I'M PRAYING
Today's reading:  Proverbs 26-27

"A person who strays away from home is like a bird that strays from its nest."  Proverbs 27:8 NLT

I'm praying for this Sunday's services.

It struck my heart this morning that in my church, and in yours if it's a Bible preaching church, people will be 'coming home'.

You know the ones...

The prodigals.

The wanderers.

The I-can-do-it-on-my-owners.

The seekers.

The ones once hurt by 'hypocrites'.

The hit-and-missers.

Coming home.

To the place they know they should be.  To the place where their foundations were built.  To the place they've been looking for all their lives. To the spot where burdens can be laid down and easy yokes taken up.  To the family of saved-by-grace brothers and sisters who have walked in their shoes--and love them even if they haven't.

Like the comfort of a bird's nest to a bird.

Coming home to Jesus.

Shouldn't we all be praying for Sunday?
