MORE AND MORE
Today's reading: Psalm 69-71
"But I will keep on hoping for you to help me; I will praise you more and more." Psalm 71:14 NLT
No matter how long my prayer request list seems to be, I have found a way to turn it into a molehill instead of the anxiety producing mountain it could easily become.
It doesn't begin with tell Him all my needs.
It doesn't start with handing Him my 'wish list'.
It doesn't commence with a list of why He should based upon any attempt at a good thing I've done.
My prayer request list is quickly brought down to size when I begin to praise Him.
For who He is...
For His character traits...
For how He remains...
When I think about Who it is I'm asking of, I quickly realize NOTHING is too hard for Him!
