DAY OF REST
Today's reading: Hebrews 1-4

"So God's rest is there for people to enter. But those who formerly heard the Good News failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his place of rest, and that time is today..." Hebrews 4:6-7 NLT

We rushed through the week.

We've scrambled to accomplish all that needs doing.

We have possibly met ourselves coming and going.

We've not chosen at any point this week to rest in Him.

Even for a few minutes.

To look deeply into His will for our lives.

To read His letter to us.

To know the peace He offers when we come to Him quietly and calmly.

So He gives us another chance--today.
