NOTICING
Today's reading: 2 Kings 16-20
"...While he was there, he noticed an unusual altar. So he sent a model of the altar to Uriah the priest, along with its design in full detail." 2 Kings 16:10 NLT
It's one thing to notice sin.
To cast a glance its way.
But to stop and gawk? To pause and ponder? To be delayed by its details?
We cannot do that!
We need to listen to the small voice telling us it's wrong, asking us to move on, reminding us of God's Word. We need to surround ourselves with folks who will lovingly push us along.
And we need to be the kind of people who, when our friends bring us the 'designs for a new altar', crumple the plans up and remind them of what's godly, true and right.
