I DON'T, BUT HE DOES
Today's reading: Job 39-40

I tossed and turned last night.

Thoughts wouldn't settle. Ideas wouldn't stop. Plans kept rolling over and over in my mind.

I have several things on my 'plate' to get done and when I stop for the evening, they all crowd my mind for attention.

I don't know how I'll get it all done.

I don't know if I'm able to accomplish all that's asked of me.

I don't know how well any of it will be completed.

Methodically He asked questions of me...

Lovingly He set my mind at ease...

"Do you...Have you...Who makes...Will the...Are you...?"

I don't...I don't...I don't...but He does!

He reminded me of it with each and every verse of Psalm 39.

He has everything under His control, even and especially, the things I think I've been 'put in charge of'.

Oh, thank you, Lord, for the reminder!
