BECAUSE OF ME
Today's reading: Genesis 36-39

"From the day Joseph was put in charge, the Lord began to bless Potiphar for Joseph's sake." Genesis 39:5 NLT

We're vessels.

Well, allow me to elaborate--if we're seeking God wholeheartedly, wanting to please Him in each and every thing we do and strive to impact others for Him, then (and only then) we are vessels for His use!

Who around you is blessed by the smile you choose to wear?

Who will you come in contact with today that catches a glimpse of godliness in your reaction to a trivial matter?

Who might overhear a conversation you're involved in and be encouraged by the character you showed when you thought no one would notice?

Who will you work beside?

Who will wait on you?

Who will sit at your table?

How God's blessings might funnel through you are as varied as people are. Why He chooses to bless in certain ways leave most of us scratching our heads in wonder. When a blessing will 'pop up' tickles our funny bone and gives us cause for a little chuckle.

He has chosen to make His children vessels.

So to you, my dear pitchers, bowls, glasses, funnels, vases and pots--do your job well today!
