THREE DATES

Today's reading: Genesis 16-19

"Is anything to hard for the Lord?.." Genesis 18:14 NLT

This is under lined in my Bible.

And highlighted. Although the highlighting has turned from a bright, neon yellow to a faded, yellowish-brown.

And dated. '01-10-02'

I must have been in this same portion of Scripture that date in 2002. And it must have hit home. It must have settled in my heart and head to the depth that I felt I needed to mark it--so I did.

I looked up another date in regards to this verse. It's in regard to when it would have been said by the Lord to Abraham in regards to Sarah laughing--and scholars say about 1,900 years before Christ was born. So about 3,921 years ago.

It was a valid question 3,921 years ago. It was something my heart needed asked 19 years ago. And it stands before me as a validation of my faith today.

Three dates that I can stand on, attest to, trust in...Is anything too hard for the Lord?
