BEYOND
Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 6-8
"Best of all, they went beyond our highest hopes..." 2 Corinthians 8:5 NLT
In this passage Paul, speaking to the church in Corinth, was applauding the church in Macedonia for their godliness, goodness and generosity.
He said they went above and beyond in their service and love.
Oh, friend, that those same words might be said of every Bible believing church in this land of ours.
May it be said that we were friendlier...
That we were more welcoming...
That we exceeded the wildest expectations...
That God was preached, but more than that--that God was shown.
