I WILL BE FILLED WITH JOY

Today's reading: Psalm 9-11

" I will be filled with joy because of you, I will sing praise to your name, O Most High." Psalm 9:2 NLT

The sun has yet to light up the morning sky.

The TV new crew has yet to tell me how the world has behaved overnight.

The new powers have yet to transition into the Oval Office.

The timeclock has yet to be punched and the tone set for the co-workers and myself.

And yet...I will be filled with joy!

Why? How?

Because, friend, my joy is all because of God!

It's nothing to do with those around me, circumstances or current events.

My joy is in the heartbeat I feel given to me by the One who created me, prepared a way to save me from my sins and leads me into all righteousness.

That's why and how I will be filled with joy!
