REALLY PRAYING
Today's reading:  Psalm 81-83

"Let them be ashamed and terrified forever.  Make them failures in everything they do, until they learn that you alone are called the Lord, that you alone are the Most High, supreme over all the earth."  Psalm 83:17 NLT

What a prayer.

Would we be able to pray that prayer over the life of an unsaved loved one?

Lord, send them nothing but heartache and heartbreak until they come to You.

Lord, make them miserable until they're in Your will.

Lord, give them a tough time until they realize You are who they need.

Lord, let their lives be a total mess until they ask You to step in and clean it up.

That's tough love.  That's being completely sold out on the fact that Jesus is the answer.  That's asking for trouble, sometimes for yourself as well as the one you're wanting to see come to Christ.

But do we love them enough to pray this prayer any way?
