IT'S ME AGAIN
Today's reading: Psalm 84-86

"Be merciful, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly." Psalm 86:3 NLT

There is the Bible stated fact that my Good Shepherd knows my name.

Then there is the simple truth that He should--He hears from me too often not to recognize my voice!

When I cry out in pain.

When I mumble in conviction.

When I scream at Him for things not going as I'd hoped, or as I'd prescribed to Him.

When I whisper a heart's desire.

When I state to Him the problem and ask His advice.

When I mention the name of a loved one.

When I call out for help.

I'm calling on Him constantly and He has always heard.

That's being merciful--and patient--and loving--and kind--and gracious.
