HIS NAME

Today's reading: Proverbs 17-18

If you've whispered the name of Jesus at the bedside of a sick loved one...you know.

If you've prayed the name of the Lord over a desperate situation...you know.

If you've cried out to God in an emergency because He was all you had...you know.

If you raised your hands in praising the King of Kings...you know.

If you've hummed the elementary words to 'Jesus loves me, this I know'...you know.

If you've been up through the night with burdens too heavy to carry and prayer requests too big to see over just trusting that the Holy Spirit makes intercession on your behalf...you know.

If you've ever claimed a single promise written in red in your old King James Version bible...you know.

His name is a strong fortress we can run to and be safe!
