SET APART
Today's reading: Leviticus 19-21
"...I, the Lord am your God, who has set you apart from all other people." Leviticus 20:24 NLT
Quite a reminder as I get up and ready for the first day of a new week. The day following a great day in the Lord's house. A day when most people trudge into work like little grumbling robots.
I have been chosen to be different.
I have been chosen to speak differently.
Work differently.
Accept challenges in a different manner.
React differently.
Make decisions that might not be popular.
I have been chosen to stand out in the crowd.
To, sometimes, stick out like an old-fashioned kind of gal.
To be seen as different in a world with over seven billion people.
To dress differently.
To raise my children in a different way than their friends' parents raise them.
God has not saved me from a fiery hell to allow me to be swallowed up by the crowd , dress like they do or act in manners less than befitting His child.
Oh, same's true for you, too.
