OFFERED

"But our High Priest offered himself to God as one sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down at the place of highest honor at God's right hand." Hebrews 10:12 NLT

Offered-to have presented as an act of worship or devotion; to have presented for acceptance or rejection; to have made available.

Ever watched a TV infomercial?

For thirty, or sometimes sixty minutes, the hosts of the show tout all their product's best features. They showcase its qualities. They demonstrate the merchandise's abilities. They make it available to you for a one-time-only low price, or monthly payments. (At least until you find it in that 'aisle' at Wal-Mart.)

They spill their heart and soul into selling their product, then leave it in your hands as to whether you will purchase it or not.

Our Savior has done the same thing.

He offers.

Then He waits for us to decide to take Him up on what He wants to give us.

Eternal life.

Forgiveness.

Release.

Peace.

Joy.

Incomparable love.
