GOD'S TAKE ON ME
Today's reading: 1 Chronicles 17-19

"...You speak as though I were someone very great, O Lord God!" 1 Chronicles 17:17 NLT

God, You say I am strong--

You say I am victorious in all things that come against me--

You say I am valuable, an important part of this world You have created--

You say I am worthy of all You have done for me--

You say I am loved--

And with each proclamation of Yours, I feel as though I need to correct You with a '...maybe, but what about when I...'

But You know about all of those, don't You?

The greatness You see in me in Your Son's blood coursing through my heart, isn't it?

It's His value bestowed upon me at Calvary.

It's His victory over death, hell and the grave that I get to claim as my own.

It's Your love for Him that flows over into abundant love for me.

You do know me, just like You knew David.
