Today's reading: Psalm 62-66

"Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer and did not withdraw his unfailing love from me." Psalm 66:20 NLT

Ignore-to refuse to take notice of; to refuse to show that you hear or see; to do nothing about or in response to.

God has every right to disregard my calls for help.

Every right.

He knows I often times save Him for a last resort...my 9-1-1 of sorts.

He knows I have a tendency to follow His leadings when it suits me, when it's most comfortable for me, when I see several steps ahead and where it might be leading.

He knows I tend to rely on other idols. Worthless, faceless, powerless, images that I believe hold help for me.

And yet He never ignores my prayers.

He never withdraws His unfailing love from me!
