Today's reading: Proverbs 29-30

"Every word of God proves true. He defends all who come to him for protection." Proverbs 30:5 NLT

How careful we must be, dear friends and fellow Bible believers, that we remember ALL God's words prove true.

We shouldn't ever just bank on the blessings of being in His presence, without knowing the curses that come from walking away from Him.

We can't afford to think only of the perks of a relationship with God, without realizing how little we can do without Him.

We wouldn't be good students of the Bible if we only take the 'positive' verses out to stand on, without coming to the point in which we know the 'harder' bits are just as instructional.

Every word proves true, for the saint and for the sinner.
