CLEANING UP
Today's reading:  2 Chronicles 29-32

"...Purify yourselves, and purify the Temple of the Lord, the God of your ancestors.  Remove all the defiled things from the sanctuary."  2 Chronicles 29:5 NLT

'Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary.'

It means cleaning up my act so that my church is not dirtied by any sins in my heart.

It means Lysol-ing my attitude.

It means GermX-ing my self-given rights and expectations.

It means fumigating my plans.

It means purging my grudges.

It means doing more about anything lurking or lingering in my head that will nourish evil thoughts.

It means washing my hands of any entertainment that may keep my mind from being holy at all times.

It means I have a lot to do, with God's help, before the next time the church doors open!
