NOT YET
Today's reading: 2 Kings 11-15
"But by the twenty-third year of Joash's reign, the priests still had not repaired the Temple." 2 Kings 12:6 NLT
Don't tell me you don't know about procrastination.
The baby book that's not done--for your grandchild's parent!
The spring clean that's not done--for 1998!
The phone call you've been meaning to make.
The card you have intended to send--for quite a while now.
I'm sure it was the same for the priests in Joash's time. They had good intentions. They knew what needed done. They agreed it was time.
And then 23 years had passed and it hadn't been accomplished.
God's work, left undone.
Who missed out? What family struggled through a hardship because of what was left incomplete at the church? What soul slipped off into eternity without knowing the Savior? What child chose a hard road instead of God's best?
It happens now, too.
Don't let it be said of you.
