MY MOM
Today's reading:  2 Corinthians 9-10

"And God will generously provide all you need.  Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others."  2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT

I've seen this versed lived out in my Mom's life.

In raising four, if I may add great, girls.  In being a deacon's wife.  In being a selfless daughter.  In serving in her church.  In grand mothering.  In stretching a dollar--very thinly.  In setting an example by her life.  In her laugh.  In her hospitality.

I've seen this verse tested and tried.  I've seen this verse proved true.  I've seen this verse played out in the loveliest of ways, through my Mom's life.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom.  Thanks for proving to me that by serving God, you'll have more than enough leftover to serve and love others with abundance!
