Fool- to meddle, tamper or experiment especially thoughtlessly or ignorantly.

I tell myself the same things I tell my teenager...

Think it through.

Track your decision through to the end.

Use your head.

Don't think it will look better in person than it does in your thoughts.

He and I both need to think through our thoughts--as to whether we need to act on them, or speak on them.

We cannot fool ourselves, there are consequences.
