CANNOT AND NEED NOT
Today's reading: 1 Chronicles 21-24

I have to tell you, it's easier for me to offer critiques and criticisms regarding your Christian walk and offerings of worship than it is to bring mine in line with God's desire.

It's more natural for me to suggest, prod and push you into serving with your whole heart than it is for me to follow my own advice.

It's simpler for me to see the error of your ways than to see my own.

And although when David spoke, he was referring to a plot of land he was wanting to acquire for a place of worship...he was also talking about the heart matter involved with giving to his Creator what he was led to give.

I cannot and need not monitor your growth and attempts at bowing before the Lord, you see, I should be too busy tending to my own affairs of the heart.
