SO I WILL WAIT

Today's reading: Jeremiah 12-14

I'm a pretty handy gal.

There are a lot of things I can do.

Several skills I have.

One of the best knows talents I have attained in my almost 50 years, getting into a whole heap of a lot of trouble!

It's true.

When I rush into a situation...

When I push my way into a solution...

When I insist on getting my own way...

When I maneuver things to look and work out the way I want them to...

So I am having to make myself learn the blessed art of learning to wait for God to help me.

To learn to watch for His hand moving and follow.

To listen for His instruction.

To push aside my blueprints and go with His plans.

Or I will find myself into a mess of my own making. Again. And again. And again.
