RESPECT
Today's reading: Isaiah 14-17

"Then at last the people will think of their Creator and have respect for the Holy One of Israel." Isaiah 17:7 NLT

Respect-an act of giving particular attention; high or special regard; the quality or state of being esteemed.

Maybe you've been taught to give up your seat for a woman or an older person when they enter the room.

Or to remove your hat as you enter a building.

Or to hold the door for a lady.

Or to stand as our nation's theme song is played.

What about your respect for God?

You're not saving it for Sunday, are you?

For when you step inside the doors of His house?

For when His words are being read from the pulpit?

God deserves our respect on a daily basis.

With each and every breath we take.

With each beat of our hearts.

We should honor Him with our living.
