FOREVER

Today's reading: Matthew 23-25

"Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will remain forever." Matthew 24:35 NLT

Forever, but where?

One used to think they would always remain carved upon the towering government buildings, but sandblasters have removed them.

Or on the benches of courtrooms across our nations, but pieces of sandpaper have scrubbed them away.

Or in the classrooms of our small towns, but addendums and voted in policies have moved them out.

Or in the pulpits of our churches, but what tickles the ears of the paying congregants have replaced many of the sermons.

So, where will they remain forever?

It will have to be in the hearts and minds and lives of His people!
