ASTONISHED
Today's reading: John 5-6
"For the Father loves the Son and tells him everything he is doing, and the Son will do far greater things than healing this man. You will be astonished at what he does." John 5:20 NLT
Just this week in our Wednesday night prayer meeting/Bible study, we discussed this very topic.
Not that 'what' God does amazes us, because we know He can do, and Has done amazing things--but that what He does for us amazes us. That He would choose to bless us. Far beyond what we ask for. Greater that what we expect. Graciously over and above what we could ever deserve.
Astounds us.
Leaves us astonished.
Captures our attention with marvel and awe.
Fills us with wonder.
