YOU ARE LOVED
Today's reading:  Daniel 7-12

"The the one who looked like a man touched me again, and I felt my strength returning.  Don't be afraid, he said, for you are deeply loved by God.  Be at peace; take heart and be strong!  As he spoke these words, I suddenly felt stronger..."  Daniel 10:18-19 NLT

Daniel was standing on the banks of the Tigris River when he had this vision.  He was still a prisoner of the Babylonians and still under control of King Cyrus.  He still, as it tells us in today's passage, faced fear and struggled with doubt.

Daniel, the great man of the lions' den, needed God's reminder just as much as any of us need it today!

We need our strength returned.

We need our zeal bolstered.

We need to be reminded of God's love for us.

We need to get up and get at doing what it is God's called us to do.
