THEN YOU WILL KNOW

Today's reading: Ezekiel 1-6

Scattered throughout the verses of these six chapters are the words, Then you will know that I am God.

God speaks to Ezekiel in an effort to bring Israel back to Him. To have them repent. To have them turn away from their idols.

God predicts war, displacement, famine, death and desolation.

All in an effort to get their attention firmly and securely on Him.

But He also tells Ezekiel to let the people know that in bringing them back to Him, they will know He is the Lord.

In the love that He shows.

In the patience He affords.

In the salvation He offers.

What will it take for you to know He is the Lord?
