CHOOSING TO FOLLOW
Today's reading: Matthew 1-2
"...It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were filled with joy." Matthew 2:9-10 NLT
God leads us in mysterious ways.
For the wise men, it was a bright, shining star.
For us, it might be the knowledge of a Bible verse. A door being closed. An opportunity to choose godly over good.
The thing is, when those leadings occur--are we filled with joy?
Are we thrilled with His hand in our guidance? His direction in our lives? His love and concern for our futures?
Or are we put out? Disgruntled? Angry? Grumbly?
The wise men were beyond excited to be led to the feet of Jesus, shouldn't we be as well?
