WHEN
Today's reading: Judges 13-16
"So Manoah asked him, When your words come true, what king of rules should govern the boy's life and work?" Judges 13:12 NLT
"Then Manoah asked the angel of the Lord, What is your name? For when all this comes true, we want to honor you." Judges 13:17 NLT
When-at what time; at or during which time.
Manoah, Samson's father, used his vocabulary to state his trust in the words of the Lord.
His conversation was fueled by his faith.
Is yours?
I'm asking myself the same question this morning.
Would I have been able to use the word 'when' in regards to this great promise given by the angel of the Lord?
Do I use 'when' now?
In regards to the promises He has given me? In hopes of the works He is going to do in and through me? In regards to the future and hope He has set aside for me?
Am I bold enough in my faith to talk about 'when' it all comes to pass?
