DEEP WITHIN YOUR HEART

Today's reading: Proverbs 7

"...Guard my teachings as your most precious possession. Tie them on your fingers as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart." Proverbs 7:2-3 NLT

When Solomon advises that we 'write' his teachings deep within our heart, it's not to keep it safe from harm, or to keep it hidden from the world, or to prevent it from being tainted, worn or faded.

Solomon, in all his God-given wisdom, knew that what's on our hearts guides every other thing we do.

What our heart holds is what our eyes see.

What our heart does is what our hands will do.

What our heart desires is what our heads will want.

What our hearts are full of is what our lives will be full of.

Our hearts are more, much more, than just the circulatory center for our bodies--they are the center for our being.
