NOT BEING INVITED

Today's reading: 1 Peter 4-5

"Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God will come upon you." 1 Peter 4:14 NLT

Not invited to the party because of your beliefs? Kudos, to you!

Not asked to the after hours assembly because of your morals? Hooray for you!

Not included in the off-color jokes with the other co-workers? Yeah, for you! 

If you are standing out, that's great!

If you are noticeably different, that's wonderful!

If you aren't swimming downstream with the majority, that's even better!

If you are insulted for being Christ-like, then you are doing what's being asked of you!
