TUNING OUR EARS
Today's reading: Proverbs 2-3
"Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding." Proverbs 2:2 NLT
Remember seeing the metal tuning forks? They are also known as acoustic resonators. They help musicians find perfect pitch when tuning their instruments.
I think of them each and every time I read this verse.
I think the Bible is our tuning fork for all we hear, all we think and all we say.
When I hear a word spoken, I should compare it to what the Word of God says.
When a thought comes to my mind, I should compares it to what is true in my Bible.
When I say something, anything, it should ring in perfect tune with the Scriptures.
