WAITING TO SEE
Today's reading: Habakkuk

"I will climb up into my watchtower now and wait to see what the Lord will say to me and how he will answer my complaint." Habakkuk 2:1 NLT

How sure are you that God's going to answer your prayers?

Sure enough, you'd 'climb up to your watchtower and wait'? 

Do you believe enough that you speak in terms of 'it's already in the works'?

Assured to the point that you 'watch the horizon' for signs of the answer?

At peace with your request because you know it's as much His will as it is your want?

That's how sure Habakkuk was that God had heard and that God would answer.

I want that!

I want to pray and then believe, really believe, it's going to be.

I want a faith that is so sure of Him that it pushes any doubts of my own aside.

I want to know His Word well enough that I can quote it back to Him, and myself, as needed.

I want to climb up to my watchtower and wait to see what all He is going to do in regards to each and every prayer I have presented to Him!
