HOLY SPIRIT
Today's reading: John 16-18

"And when he comes, he will convince the world of its sin, and of God's righteousness, and of the coming judgement." John 16:8 NLT

I'll tell you, I have days when I wear myself out attempting to be the Holy Spirit for another.

Another who I believe should know.

Another who I think should realize the error of their ways.

Another who I want to see living a godlier life.

Another whose fruit is not evident in their Christian walk.

Another who I have presented the Gospel to, yet they've chosen to not accept it yet.

And then I read this verse. I see in its words that the role of convincing and convicting is not my job at all, but His.

It is not up to me to do anything but live out and speak out.

That should free up a majority of my time.
