PLENTY
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 7-9
"When you have eaten your fill, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations and laws." Deuteronomy 8:10-11 NLT
Plenty- a full or more than adequate amount or supply.
We all have plenty.
Plenty to eat.
Plenty to wear.
Plenty of roof over our heads.
Plenty of air to breathe.
Plenty of amenities to fill our lives with.
Plenty of blessings. Good health. Money to cover the bills. Great families. Lots of friends. A good Bible-believing church.
In our plenty we have no needs...
It is a precarious position to be in, one that causes us to forget how desperately we need our Provider.
