DISPLAY HIS GLORY
Today's reading: Isaiah 34-39
"...There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God." Isaiah 35:2 NLT
Where is it God's glory will be revealed? Where is it we will most vividly see His splendor?
Mountaintop? Pleasant pasture? Good days? Easy times?
No, in the wilderness and the desert!
Places where everything else, all our strengths, are stripped away from us.
Scary places. Dark places. Dry places. Uninhabitable places.
Times when our focus is completely on Him--because all else has failed us miserably.
Moments when He has our full attention because our idols have let us down, our plans have proven less than favorable and our pedestals have been toppled.
So, friend, if you are there...look around. Look for Him. Look up!
