SAME
Today's reading: Judges 20-21

"But the Israelites took courage and assembled at the same place they had fought the previous day." Judges 20:22 NLT

Same-resembling in every relevant aspect; corresponding so closely as to be indistinguishable.

Maybe you know just how the Israelites feel...

The same enemy.

The same battle field.

The same tactics.

You really thought that as a child of the One True God, you'd turn it over to Him once--and be done.

But that's not how He is choosing to work in your life?

He's allowing you to struggle with the same habits. He's letting you be dogged by the same temptations. He's placing the desire of your heart just outside your reach.

Here's a thought...

The battle is not the same.

Sure it may feel like it. It may look like it. It may end like it had previously ended.

But it's different--because you are different.

Stronger? Wiser? More determined? More dependent upon God?

So maybe God has you reporting to the same battle field again today...look at it with different eyes!
