MORE AND MORE
Today's reading: 1 Thessalonians 4-5

"Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You are doing this already, and we encourage you to do so more and more." 1 Thessalonians 4:1 NLT

I just had to stop there.

My eyes and heart were drawn to the simple phrase, more and more.

In our walks with God, we cannot think we have hit the ceiling, plateaued or topped out.

There is no settling into your Christianity--it's constant growth, constant improvement, constant striving to live in a way that honors God's sacrifice for you.

So this morning, dear brothers and sisters, go out and do what's right, live for Jesus, witness, love, extend mercy, shower grace, live in freedom like you did yesterday, but today do it more and more!
